Lvl 82: An Ode to the Idiot

Curiosity, the heart of an idiot. Curiosity, that sense of wonder. Curiosity. It's what got you to click this lovely little e-mail. You're such an Idiot. But I'm curious: are you proud to be one? Yes, you should be proud to be an Idiot! Don't be ashamed. An Idiot is one of the best titles you cna put on your resume. Today we give an Ode to the Idiot. By saying you're an Idiot, you admit that you don't know shit. You admit there's still shit ya gotta learn. And that, my friend is a GROWTH mindset. A lot of people act like they got their shit together, when they really don't. A lot of people play the role of a big "Know-It-All" when they don't know shit. A lot of people call you an Idiot, when they haven't looked in the mirror lately. That is a FIXED mindset. They're unwilling to own the fact there are areas in life that they are stupid in. They're set in their ways and refuse to budge. They make mistakes and blame others, rather than taking it as a personal lesson. The difference between you and them is that you know you're an Idiot. You know there's room to improve. And that keeps you learning. That keeps you trying to get your shit together. That keeps you trying to figure things out. Admitting mistakes, rather than saying you're right and "knew" what you were doing all the time. Be curious about the world. Go explore the shit you don't know. There's a lot of it. Be an Idiot. Oh and the more you know, the more you don't know. But don't take it from me. I'm just a babbling idiot.
