Lvl 84: Haters Gonna Hate. Whatever Be Lazy Anyway

Not everyone "gets it" Not everyone understands how laziness is the key to success, how procrastinating with purpose is more effective then going "no holds barred' Not everyone thinks it's possible to sit on the couch all day and actually make a living. Not everyone will support you in your lazy lifestyle. They'll throw at you classic lines such as: • You're not doing ANYTHING with your life. • Working at home is NEVER going to get you anywhere • Why don't you get a REAL job? The truth is, these people are suffering. They're unhappy with their 9-5 job. They hate their boss. They hate waking up Monday Morning, and they hate the fact that they NEED their coffee fix in order to function at said job. And you know what they say, misery loves company. They see you, all cozy and relaxed on the couch doing whatever it is you love, and think to themselves "that's not fair" Yet instead of building a lazy lifestyle for themselves they instead criticize it and make it out to be the Devil. They get trapped in their own Ego. The Ego tries to convince a person that what they're doing is more right and better. It causes them to deny their own flaws and choose a path of obligation over desire. It's the fuel behind the "Holier Than Thou" attitude. It's what keeps a person doing what is expected of him/her, to be liked and approved, rather than being honest about what they actually want to do. Look, I don't necessarily have a problem with someone working a 9 to 5 job. If they like it, more power to them. I do have a problem, however, with the people that work a 9 to 5 job and complain about it, without doing something about it. Anyway, there's really no point in arguing with these people. They're so far gone brainwashed that they're not going to change their minds, not by force anyway. The best way to convince them they're wrong is to just ignore them and do your own thing, man. After all, inaction speaks louder than words :D But they might just write you off as "lucky". Luck isn't a factor as much as patience, but I digress. In that case you might want to plant little "seeds of doubt" about their whole work hard mindset. You don't want to argue or debate. Just remain calm and ask questions like: How hard do you think coal miners work? How much money do you think they make? How much harder do you think they should have to work to become a successful a billionaire? The seed you're planting here is that the people who work the HARDEST, most labor intensive jobs, aren't becoming billionaires. And perhaps success has a little more to do with it than hard work. The goal is to change their mind without forcing them to do so. The goal is to get them to reach that conclusion on their own. Either way, don't let it get to you. Abide and do your own thing, man, regardless of what people tell you you should be doing.
