Lvl 91: Establish a Lazy A** Routine

No matter how Lazy you are, being forced by law to stay indoors all day can get quite boring. Let's be honest, you'd probably spend your night playing Final Fantasy VII Remake or binge-watching a Netflix series anyway, but somehow now that you're being told to do it, you kind of..miss having a job. Quite ironic. Usually going to work is the last thing you ever want to even think about. But here in this quarantine, you're like "Shit, man. I kind of miss my job.." Stop that nonsense! Stop it right now. Seriously. You do NOT. I repeat do NOT miss going to work. What you miss is having a Routine and the three main functions a solid routine offers... 1) Purpose 2) Structure 3) Balance Purpose is the answer to WHY you do what you do Structure is the HOW you go about doing it Balance is the symmetry between slow n' steady progress towards your goal and takin it easy. If you're feeling bored, a common symptom of this Cabin Fever, you need to establish a routine, a lazy routine even, but a routine nonetheless. You need to find meaning in what you are doing, first and foremost. If you feel like you're "wasting time", it's not because you are lazy. Being lazy is fine. It's because you lack meaning. You then need to put together a series of tasks that give meaning. You don't have to wake up at the ass crack of dawn to get started. Sleep 'til noon if you want. But do establish a bit of a schedule. It doesn't have to be followed to a "T" but use it as a guideline of sorts. Finally, balance out your goal achieving with leisure. Don't work yourself too hard towards your purpose. Procrastinate a bit before moving forward. DO move forward, but DO stop once in a while to chill. Ultimately, you don't need to sit at a desk to give yourself purpose, structure, and balance. You don't need a boss to tell you what your routine is. Be your own boss. Make your own routine.
